The .periodicos. app allows users to search the collection of the Periodicals Portal of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES), a foundation of the Ministry of Education (MEC). It is a virtual library that provides high-level national and international scientific content, including access to journals, bibliographic references with abstracts, theses and dissertations, technical standards, books, reference works, statistics, patents, audiovisual content, open access files, and e-print networks.

With the .periodicos. app, you can:

• Perform quick searches by subject, journal, book, and database;
• Remotely access the Periodicals Portal via the Federated Academic Community (CAFe);
• Browse websites referenced in search results;
• Save articles in PDF format to your library;
• Search for and add saved articles to favorites in the library;
• Create and edit notes and tags for articles;
• Share notes and store them in Evernote.

In this version, in addition to searching and viewing scientific content, you can save your favorites in the library and access them whenever you want.

You can also create, edit, and share notes with other users, as well as store them in your Evernote. This will help you organize information that you deem important.

Lastly, you can add tags to filter and categorize articles.
